A little bit better January 2, 2009 Reviewer:  HD MAN PDX See all my reviews >

I purchased this unit and got great reception on about 1/10th the stations available in my area.. about 16 channels. I returned it and purchased a amplified HD antenna GE HDTV Quantum Antenna - Silver (24775) to try and get more stations. The new antenna was more about [price] more and it is garbage it doesn't get any channels at all when placed on top of my tv like this Phillips did. I have to put it 4ft up in a window to get 5 channels... This Philips unit is a great buy for the money!!!! Works better then higher priced amplified antenna (GE HDTV Quantum Antenna - Silver (24775) ) I will be returning the new one and upgrading to the Philips amplified antenna tomorrow.. i will post results... Great antenna for the money!!!!

works great for me December 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Jaks (Minneapolis, MN)  See all my reviews >

I just bought a Samsung LN-32A450 and needed a better antenna to pick up digital signals. Plugged this one in and pulled out the antenna and it picked up everything, no problem. It works just fine here in Minneapolis. Good price.

Good! June 4, 2009 Reviewer:  regnar11b See all my reviews >

I live 44-62 miles from the closes HD TV transmitter. Check antennaweb .org to see how close you are. If your over 20 miles this antenna will pick up the stations but will drop them 80% of the time. If you live 30-60 miles get the Phillips SDV2750 you can get it at that big "W" store everywhere in the U.S. for $8 more. If you are within 20 miles, this antenna will work great! Its small and has streamline look that is also easy to hide out of the way. Word of advice make sure you have enough coax cable to set any HD antenna in a window to point towards the transmitters. With curtains in the window it is easy to hide behind them in order to have a clean look.

Signal? What Signal? June 14, 2009 Reviewer:  Aliasx (Atlanta)  See all my reviews >

Ok this thing has been a source of aggravation for me and my tv from the moment I bought it.Every signal breaks up and many dont come in at all.Ive bought coaxial cables ,moved it near windows, everything but put it on a kite and fly it like Benjamin Franklin. When I test the *signal strength in the setup menu for the digital box it is weak to non-existent.Im going to look into the antennaweb.org site but I have to find a better antenna.

Junk May 25, 2009 Reviewer:  M5workz (Whittier, Ca.)  See all my reviews >

Save your money this antenna does not work all that great. My HDTV could only pick up two stations here in Los Angeles 7 and 11.

JUNK! February 6, 2009 Reviewer:  mom of 6 "Christy" (WV)  See all my reviews >

I bought this antenna in hopes that it would look a little better and work better than the old rabbit ear with aluminuim foil. Well, guest what, the aluminuim works way better than this thing. Plus the folding feature is a pain, because it make them cumbersom. Last but not least don't let the box fool you , you still have to pull up rabbit ears. That's them sticking up in the picture. If you can't get better just get cheap rabbit ears.

Works well in Baymeadows area, Jacksonville, FL January 9, 2009 Reviewer:  JohnnyCNote "Bayeadows area" (Jacksonville, FL)  See all my reviews >

I got the antenna today, hooked it up (my TV already has a digital tuner), did a channel search and it works fine. The picture isn't perfect, but it's watchable. I mostly use the satellite, but there are a few features available from some of our local broadcast stations that I wanted to be able to receive.

I can recommend this antenna for at least this part of town . . .

Not worth the money December 11, 2008 Reviewer:  San Fran Joe (San Francisco, Ca)  See all my reviews >

I just bought this antenna today for my HDTV and boy-o-boy, this thing is not worth the money I just spent. I live in San Francisco; probably less than 5 miles from the transmitters and this little antenna just wouldn’t get good reception no matter how I positioned it. It’s also poorly made. The antenna consists of two panels that are hinged at the center, but the plastic hinge in so loose, that is flops back and forth. There is a small foot that is supposed to sturdy it but if you have the telescopic antenna pulled all the way out, it becomes really unbalanced. Be forewarned, spend your money on something better made. I own a cheaper amplified one for the bedroom TV and it works like a charm, this one is not amplified.

What were they thinking? October 28, 2009 Reviewer:  Dena Calabrese Real Name See all my reviews >

What were they thinking with this crummy design? WHen I went out to buy an antenna there were only two in stock and I was told that this was the better of the two as far as reception was concerned. Nobody told me that this thing was so poorly designed that it can't stand up on its own under the weight of its own rabbit ears. I send more time figuring out how to balance this thing so it won't fall over, and then guess what??? It can't pick up the channel i'm trying to watch in that position. I have one on a downstairs TV and one upstairs, and I can't get the same channels on both. The worst part is I can't get my favorite channel upstairs. If you're in the market for an antenna buy one with a stable base or you'll end up standing there holding this piece of junk while you try to watch TV

THIS IS AMAZING!!! THE BEST!! September 30, 2009 Reviewer:  Jsmom See all my reviews >

I am so shocked....My husband and I purchased three Antennas. Two Philips and one GE. We purchased one Philips Indoor HDTV Amp Digital Antenna for $ and this one for $ and a GE Antenna for $.00. The GE Antenna was horrible and we got 10 channels and only 3 came in clear. The Philips HDTV digital amp for $ was even worse. Finally we tried this one and it got 27 channels sitting in the window!! We are so amazed!! I would recommend this to anyone!! Don't waist your money on expensive ones!
